Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, The Fairmount Park Conservancy, The Parks and Recreation Commission and PennPraxis invite you to attend the community launch event for its vision for the future of Philadelphia's most treasured park:
“The New Fairmount Park”
At this event, the project team will present key ideas, lead walking tours to early action projects and allow you the opportunity to explore the vision document on your own.
This event represents the culmination of “A Community Vision and Action Plan for East and West Fairmount Park,” a year-long planning process that engaged over 1,000 park users and near neighbors around how to make East and West Fairmount Park more accessible and enjoyable for all Philadelphians.

Tuesday, May 13
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Smith Playground, 3500 Reservoir Drive
Sign-in and refreshments at 5:30pm
Program begins promptly at 6:00pm
SEPTA accessible via Routes 3 and 32
The tours will include walking on unpaved surfaces, so we encourage you to wear comfortable shoes.
